ProWoc is a non-profit organisation that offers career and personal development opportunities for professional women of colour seeking to increase their visibility and impact, according to the NGO’s website. Co-founder Selim Ablo-Nielsen is originally from Ghana and has lived in Denmark since 2008. “What inspired me to start ProWoc was the desire to empower women and the need for positive images of women of colour in the public.
