Dear Phenomenal Ladies of the ProWoc Family

What a year it has been!
The expression, 2020, represents perfect vision, deep insight, and being in harmony with your past, present, and future. This year 2020 has certainly forced us to have deep and meaningful conversations with our inner selves and with others.

Despite the apparent challenges, 2020 has been a fantastic, rewarding year of opportunity, growth, and development for ProWoc. This could not have happened without you; our members, our supporters, our collaboration partners, our ambassadors, our sponsors, our advisory board, our ProWoc board, and Committee members.

Thank you!

We are grateful for the opportunity to work with, and for you. Our passion for helping Women of Colour CONNECT, GROW, and EVOLVE in their professional and personal lives remains unwavering and strong.

At this time, we celebrate in a spirit of gratitude, the many successes ProWoc has had in 2020.

  • We welcomed many new members into the ProWoc family – a 300% increase
  • We stayed connected with virtual and safe in-person meet-ups, despite the coronavirus challenges
  • We supported the growth of our members with relevant programming e.g.
    • Our tailor-made mentoring program
    • CV workshops facilitated by a well-known talent recruitment company
    • Exclusive Conversations with senior leaders in Denmark
    • Investing to close the gender financial gap
    • Understanding and developing your personal purpose
  • We are increasing the visibility of women of colour in Denmark through articles, speaking engagements, and SoMe posts

No matter what the situation has been, we have persevered together as a team, triumphed, and emerged stronger. We often find our greatest successes in the most surprising places and we develop resilience in the face of adversity. We are sure it has been the same for you.

As we emerge from the crucible of 2020, we step out invigorated and hopeful, confident, and appreciative about what is to come, what we will become.

At ProWoc, we are so excited about all that 2021 has in store for us. Based on your feedback and enthusiasm, we have planned an exciting array of new programs and events designed to meet your professional and career needs. Stay tuned for more details in the new year.

Warm wishes, good health, and happiness to you and your families in this Holiday Season and beyond. We look forward to an amazing and successful 2021!
